Psychiatrist Locums Job | South Bay Area of CaliforniaJackson and Coker is seeking a Psychiatrist for a flexible locums opportunity in the South Bay Area of California. This position offers a part time or full time schedule, no call, and the potential for a long term or permanent opportunity.Details/Requirements:--32 total hours per week available--Open to one Psychiatrist or splitting coverage between two providers at approximately 16 hours each--At least one provider must be comfortable treating children and adults, preferably ages 5 and up--Adult only Psychiatrists may be considered for the remaining coverage--Approximately 75% adult and 25% pediatric patient population--Patient population includes individuals with developmental disabilities and co occurring mental health diagnoses--Experience with developmental disabilities strongly preferred--In person coverage required with potential for a hybrid schedule--Typical hours between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday--No call--Spanish or Vietnamese language skills are a plus, but not required--Initial evaluations: 90 minutes for children and 60 minutes for adults--Follow ups: 45 minutes for children and 30 to 45 minutes for adults--Approximately 50% billable clinical hours expected--Avatar electronic health record--Approximately 4 weeks for credentialing--6 month minimum commitment preferred, with longer assignments welcomed--Strong interest in candidates open to transitioning from locums to permanent employment
