Jackson and Coker is partnering with a respected health system in Upstate New York to provide locums psychiatric coverage in an Inpatient setting. This opportunity is ideal for a board certified psychiatrist who enjoys teaching, as the role combines direct patient care with resident precepting. Opportunity Highlights:--Inpatient setting with a strong academic component, seeing adults--Blend of patient care and resident education--starting in November for a minimum of 2 months with the possibility to be ongoing. --Support from a well-established, collaborative health system--Monday–Friday inpatient schedule (Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
On-Call Coverage:--1 weekend per month--5 weekday nights per month (tied to inpatient unit)
Requirements:--Board Certified in Psychiatry--Active New York medical license --DEA required--Clean malpractice history
