Locum Tenens to Permanent Job for a PMHNP in the California Bay AreaDetails/Requirements:*Will only consider locums to perm PMHNP candidates who are interested first and foremost in the permanent opportunity.
*Need starts ASAP for 3 months for 40 hours a week treating SMI adult outpatients. PMHNP will see patients at one location.
*Prefer local candidates and 100% in-person services. If necessary, however, they will consider some type of hybrid schedule.
*Hours: 8A-5P, M-F.
*No call.
*Need a doctor with SMI experience and experience prescribing Clozaril as well as prescribing meds for patients with schizophrenia, bipolar, very severe treatment resistant depression, etc.
*Initial evaluations are 60-90 minutes and medication follow ups are 20-30 minutes. For patients new to the doctor, can spend longer with the patient based on what’s best for the patient.
*Credible is their E.H.R. and they use Ring Central for tele health.
*Credentialing process takes 6-8 weeks, depending on how all over it the locum tenens-to-permanent candidate is.
*Board Certification is preferred, not required.
*Will consider 3 months minimum assignments for the locum tenens trial period.
