Permanent Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Job | Minnesota, Twin Cities AreaA facility is looking for an experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our behavioral health team in the Twin Cities. This role involves working with patients across all age groups, providing comprehensive psychiatric care.Key Responsibilities:--Work with children, adolescents, and adults conducting psychiatric evaluations and assessments--Manage medication sessions with patients--Perform history and physicals--Develop and update personalized treatment plans--Educate patients and families about mental health and medication management--Participate in team and unit meetings--Create discharge plans and collaborate with the care team--Complete charting and documentation within 24 hours--Serve as the attending provider for assigned units and round on patients--Collaborate with nursing staff for medication education--Meet patient productivity standards and ensure compliance with coding and documentation expectations--Attend Medical Staff and Executive Committee meetings--Must be licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)--Experience in psychiatric care across all ages needed
