PMHNP Locums Job in Brooklyn, New York
Position Overview: Join a growing outpatient clinic in Brooklyn serving a predominantly Orthodox Jewish population. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with a dedicated behavioral health team and make a meaningful impact in the community.
Position Details:--Patient Population: Ages 5+ (majority are children)--Schedule: Part (20-25 hours/week); Clinic is open weekdays and closes early on Fridays--Visit Types: Evals (45 mins), med checks (20–30 mins), consultations, treatment plan approvals--Setting: Onsite preferred; open to a hybrid schedule--Support Staff: Therapists, part-time NP, PNP administrative assistant--Start Date: Early April for a 3 month initial contract--Facility cannot pay provider for no shows however this is very rare at this facilityRequirements:--Must be comfortable seeing all ages--New York license and New York Medicare/Medicaid credentials--Experience with or sensitivity to Orthodox Jewish culture--EMR experience a plus--Clinic census is growing – expect increased hours over time--Exposure to complex cases is expected
