Pulmonary Critical Care Locums Job in Georgia | Day + Night Call | Beginning January 11, 2026 – Ongoing | Assignment #112404Coverage Details:-- Start Date: January 11, 2026
-- Assignment Duration: 6–9 months
-- Days per Month: 30
-- Credentialing: Before 1/11/26; Emergent possible with clean malpractice history
Shift Description:-- Day Shift: 7 AM – 7 PM onsite in 8-bed ICU
-- Night Call: 7 PM – 7 AM from home (offsite)
-- Average Callback: Rare; mostly phone calls (2–5 per 12 hours). Critical cases transferred to sister site in Chattanooga
-- Pulmonary consults during day shift
Requirements:-- Board Certified in Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine
-- ACLS & GA DEA
-- GA State License
-- Fellowship: Accredited Pulmonary/Critical Care
Required Procedures:-- Tracheal intubation
-- Central lines
-- Chest tubes
-- Arterial lines
-- Dialysis catheter
-- Thoracentesis
-- Lumbar puncture
-- Conscious sedation
-- Bronchoscopy
Assignment Details:-- Duties: Admissions, cross-cover, pulmonary consults
-- Case Types: Adult med/surg; no OB, pediatrics, or trauma
-- Setting: Hospital
-- Support Staff: In-house hospitalists, ER MD, respiratory therapy, ICU nursing
-- Admissions per Day: 4–5
-- Patient Census: ~10
-- EMR: Epic
