Radiation Oncology Locums Job in Louisiana | Early June
We are working with a health system partner seeking Radiation Oncology locum coverage for a short term assignment supporting continuity of care during a planned coverage gap. This opportunity is clinic based with no call requirements.
Dates of Coverage:
--June 1-5, 18-19, 22-26
--July 15-17
Schedule:
--Monday through Thursday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
--Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
Details and Requirements:
--Radiation Oncology coverage in both clinic and hospital based settings
--No call responsibilities
--Rounding is involved but occurs infrequently
--Average clinic patient volume is approximately 20 on treatment visit days
--Inpatient consult volume is minimal and typically limited to one if needed
--Practice supported by nursing staff, CNA support, and radiation therapists
--EPIC and Aria electronic medical record systems utilized
Candidate Requirements:
--Board eligible or board certified Radiation Oncology physician
--Ability to support both outpatient treatment and limited inpatient rounding
