Urgent Care Physician Locums Job in Missouri | Scheduled Clinical Hours | Beginning ASAP - Ongoing | Assignment #115306Coverage Details-- Begin as soon as credentialed-- Credentialing timeframe: Approximately 120 days-- Must be willing to work across multiple urgent care centersShift Description-- Centers typically open 8 AM – 8 PM Monday – Friday and 9 AM – 5 PM Saturday – Sunday-- Moving to 12-hour shifts on weekends (required)-- Preference for providers able to work blocks of shifts, including weekdays and weekendsRequirements-- Residency trained and board certified or board eligible (within 5 years of residency) in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds (ABMS or AOB only)-- Licensed in Missouri or eligible via IMLC-- Must be trained and comfortable seeing both adult and pediatric patients-- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association-- Epic experience - highly preferred-- Local providers - highly preferredRequired Procedures / Skills-- Suturing and wound care, including incision and drainage-- Splinting and casting-- Reading EKGs and X-rays-- Drawing blood-- Pediatric care experience (minimum 6+ months)-- Must be trained to see both adults and pediatricsAssignment Details-- Average patient volume: 36–48 patients per shift-- Practice setting: Outpatient urgent care-- Support staff: 1 medical assistant and 1 office staff member; no RN/LPN support-- Onsite X-ray and EKG available; training provided after credentialing and onboarding-- EMR: Epic
