Urology Physician Locums Job in Michigan | Scheduled Clinical Hours Only | Beginning August 4 – Ongoing | Assignment #114580Coverage Details-- Monday–Friday clinic and OR coverage
-- Typical schedule includes 4 clinic days and 1 OR day weekly
-- 8:00 am – 5:00 pm; OR days may start at 7:00 am depending on block time
-- 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation
-- No call coverage
Requirements-- Board eligible or certified (American Board of Urology or American Osteopathic Board of Surgery – Urological Surgery)
-- Michigan medical license, Michigan CDS, and Michigan DEA
-- ACLS
-- Fellowship – Highly Preferred
-- Successful completion of an ACGME- or AOA-accredited residency/fellowship or equivalent foreign training in urology
Required Procedures / Skills-- General urology: Adult
-- Laparoscopic surgeries
-- Ureteroscopy
-- Renal and bladder ultrasound with biopsy
-- TRUS biopsies
-- Fertility work-up
Assignment Details-- Practice setting includes both inpatient and outpatient
-- Average of 20 patients per shift
-- Admissions and hospital rounding required during the workday
-- Support staff includes RN, MA, PA/NP, and office staff
-- Facility Trauma Level: 3
-- Da Vinci Xi robot onsite
-- Estimated credentialing timeframe: 30 days
-- EMR: Athena (clinic) and Meditech (hospital)
