Shift Details
-- Monday-Friday, 1-2 weeks per month
-- 24-hour call Monday-Thursday
-- Friday clinic only, no call
-- Monday: Surgery 7:00 AM-2:00 PM and Clinic 3:00 PM-5:00 PM
-- Tuesday - Friday: Clinic 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
-- On-call coverage required
Requirements
-- Board Certified - highly preferred
-- Board Eligible accepted if recently out of residency and obtaining Board Certification within 12 months
-- Oregon license
-- BLS, DEA
-- Clean malpractice history - highly preferred
Required Procedures / Skills
-- Ability to perform urology clinic, surgical, and hospital call responsibilities
-- Circumcision/Dorsal Slit
-- Orchiopexy
-- Cysto Stent Placement
-- Cystoscopy
-- Cysto with Botox Injection, Bladder Biopsy, Instillation Mitomycin, and Urolift
-- Evacuation of Clots
-- Excision of Cyst Mass, Condyloma, Spermatocele
-- Explantation of Device
-- Hydrocelectomy
-- Hydrocele Repair
-- Hydrodistention of Bladder
-- Laser Lithotripsy
-- Outpatient Bladder Irrigation, Cystoscopy (w/Botox), Prostate Biopsy
-- Pediatric Orchiopexy
-- Penile Biopsy
-- Sacral Neurostimulator Staging and Neuromodulation
-- Scrotal Exploration Following Injury
-- Cystoscopy with TOT Sling
-- Suprapubic Catheter Placement
-- Stone Extraction
-- Transurethral Incision/TURBT
-- TURP
-- Ureteroscopy Stone Procedures (w/Laser)
Assignment Details
-- Hospital and physician clinic setting
-- Attending clinic patients, hospital emergency call coverage, admissions, and surgery
-- FTE: 1.0
-- EMR: Meditech and eClinicalWorks
-- Support staff includes clinic MA, perioperative nurses, and clinic RN
-- Average callback volume: 8.1 hours
-- Providers must be able to see a minimum of 17 clinic patients daily and fill surgery slots
-- Trauma Level IV
