Vascular Surgery Locums Job | Surgery Center Weekday | Southwest Florida | Seeking 4 Days per Month Starting ASAP
Jackson and Coker is partnered with a Surgery Center on the western Florida coast that needs 4 days per month of procedure coverage starting in July & ongoing.
Dates of Coverage Needed:
- Seeking 4 days per month (can be Monday – Thursday, Tuesday-Friday and/or other variations to amount 4 days total)
- Shift times are generally 7:30AM – 5PM
- No night or weekend call coverage needed generally speaking
- Have a one off need for weekend call coverage at a local hospital on Friday 7/17 at 7AM – Monday, 7/20 at 7AM
Details/Requirements for Assignment #115886:
-- Preference for local Florida candidates if possible
-- Surgery center can grant privileges quickly; If you’re interested in the 24-hr call need on 7/17-20 will need to move quickly
-- Board Certification or true Board Eligibility required
-- Current staff: 1 Vascular Surgeon (will be assisting with a backlog of procedures)
-- Nursing staff will administer moderate sedation (not required by Surgeon)
-- Cases to anticipate: PADs + some deep vein cases
-- Will be required to do 4 procedures (generally PADs) a day (will vary if cases are more detailed, etc.)
-- Additionally monthly coverage available if Vascular Surgeon also does embolics/GAE
