Anesthesiologist Locums Job in Owensboro, Kentucky
Dates: April 20-24; April 27-May 1; May 4-8; June 1-5; June 15-19; June 22-26
Details/Requirements of Assignment:--We can assist with Kentucky license
--Monday-Friday 6a-3p, 6a-5p, 6a-7p. All shifts start at 6a to start pre-ops.
--Call required - 13 hour call shift; have post call day off. Call set up is 2 CRNAs and 1 MD on call every night
--Care team model - MDA main function is for pre-ops/blocks/PACU. MDs also supervising CRNAs for cardiac cases.
--ASA range 1-5. Most patients ASA 3-4.
--CRNAs expected to be able to provide a full range of services for all age groups (Pediatric through Geriatric). Healthy peds.
--CRNAs expected to function independently for endo
--MDs should be comfortable with all cases – healthy peds to geriatric
--Epic EMR
--Must have recent cardiac experience and be able to be backup for CRNAs
--Level 3 trauma center
--30-60 days to credential; temporary privileges available
--Main responsibility are pre-ops, blocks and PACU.
--Anesthesiologists here do blocks for Ortho, OBGYN, and general surgery.
--Below are the type of blocks they do:
--Upper limb- interscalene, supraclavicular, axillary
--Lower Limb- femoral, adductor, popliteal
--Erector spine blocks for plastics
--Tap block for abdominal surgeries
--CT surgeon does a wide variety of cases so need to be able to back up the Cardiac CRNA so recent heart experience
