-- October 26 – October 31, 8a–5p; includes call with 24-hour call on October 31 ending at 7a on November 1
-- November 23 – November 28, 8a–5p; includes call with 24-hour call November 26 and November 28 ending at 7a on November 29
-- December 21 – December 31, 8a–5p; includes call with 24-hour call on December 26 and December 27
-- Ongoing coverage needs available
Shift Description-- Monday – Friday: 8am–5pm
-- Weekend coverage required
Call Details-- Weeknight call required
-- Saturday – Sunday: 24-hour call coverage
-- Call ratio 1:2
Requirements-- Board Certified Physician Assistant (PA C)
-- Open to all candidates
-- ACLS and BLS certifications
-- Minimum 2 years of cardiothoracic surgery experience
-- Clean malpractice and background history
Required Procedures / Skills-- Cardiothoracic surgery
-- Endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH)
Assignment Details-- Level 2 trauma facility
-- Averages 125 CABG cases/year (few are emergent)
