Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant Locums Job l Northern California | Ongoing and Starting JulyDescription/Requirements for Assignment #115041:* Active California license and Board Certification required* All shifts 7am-5pm onsite then night call 5pm-7am* Currently doing average of 10-11 heart surgeries per month* Thoracic cases that the PA may also assist with* Rounds every morning and the PA’s are writing notes on post op patients* Averaging less than 10 patients in the hospital at a time* Follow-up clinic at the hospital in the afternoon on Tuesday and Thursday (often after a morning surgery) and see up to 6 patients* Minimal callback during night call* Setting: Level II Trauma Center* EMR: Cerner Care B with SurgiNet* 1-2 Hours of Callback per shift* Substantial experience in endovascular vein harvesting (EVH) required
