Cardiovascular Surgery Locums Job | Call Coverage | Beginning ASAP – Ongoing | Assignment #115083Coverage Details:-- 10 -12 shifts per month of call coverage, including nights and weekends
-- Occasional outpatient ambulatory clinic coverage
Requirements:-- Board Certified or board eligible in cardiovascular surgery
-- New Hampshire license or IMLC
Assignment Details:-- Thoracic surgery volume averages 10 cases per month
-- Patient volume: 5
-- Surgical assists are PAs who cover the service 24/7
-- Vein grafts are harvested by the PA assigned to the surgery unless the surgeon elects to harvest personally
-- Intensivists and hospitalists see patients in the ICU as needed
-- All patients are rounded on by both PAs and surgeons
-- Support staff includes MAs, RNs, and APPs
-- EMR: eCW + Meditech Expanse
