Coverage Details
-- Start as soon as credentialed (Estimated credentialing timeframe: 120 days)
-- Schedule: 7pm-7am
Requirements
-- Board Certified or Board Eligible
-- ACLS, BLS, PALS
-- Active Ohio license, ILMC, or willing to obtain license
Procedures as applicable:
-- Obstetrics: low- and high-risk pregnancy management
-- Labor & Delivery: vaginal delivery, forceps, C-sections, complicated deliveries, VBACs, repair of 3rd/4th degree lacerations
-- Gynecology: minor laparoscopic procedures and open surgical gynecology
-- ER coverage for unassigned GYN cases
Practice Setting
-- Inpatient Labor & Delivery + OB/GYN
-- 1 full-time laborist physician and 1 full-time midwife currently in practice
-- Reason for coverage: insufficient employed physicians and midwives
-- Level III nursery
-- Support staff: RNs, CNM
-- Onsite lab and ultrasound available
-- EMR: Epic
