Child Psychiatrist Locum Tenens Medical Director Job in Coastal Southern CaliforniaDetails/Requirements:*Medical Director need is for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm starting as soon as credentialed. 50/50 admin time to clinical time.
*Daily clinical caseload for the medical director is 5-10 patients.
*Will attend meetings, do scheduling, and keep the doctors on track.
*Board Certification is required, either in child & adolescent psychiatry or adult psychiatry and the medical director needs to be comfortable seeing both adults and adolescents, ages 13 and up.
*An Internist does the medical physicals for new admissions.
*Electronic health record, so candidates must be computer savvy.
*Hospital credentialing/privileging can take approximately two months, sometimes longer.
*Requires 3-month minimum assignments with the possibility of extending if mutually agreed upon.
