Advanced Gastroenterologist Locums Job | South of Tampa | Two Weeks of Coverage in May 2025 + Ongoing | 24 Hour Call Coverage OnlyJackson and Coker is partnered with a facility located south of Tampa that needs GI locum tenens coverage in May + ongoing. The facility is eager to identify a provider that can assist with both, ERCP + EUS, and who is available to offer a minimum of 1 week per month of ongoing coverage. Dates of Coverage: * Will need to arrive at the facility on Friday between 8A-5P to complete a brief orientation/EMR training prior to starting coverage on Saturday morning.
* Saturday, May 3 at 7AM - Saturday, May 10 at 7AM
* Saturday, May 17 at 7AM - Saturday, May 24 at 7AM
* Will need an average of 1-2 weeks of coverage per month ongoing in 2025
Assignment Details/Requirements #107861:-- Active Florida license required
-- Current Board Certification required
-- BLS, ACLS, ABLS, PALS certifications required
-- 100% 24-hour ED call coverage (no clinic / outpatient at this time)
-- Will be required to round, see new consults/full-up consults and to cover emergent cases/scopes
-- Skills required: Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, cautery vs. laser, Esophageal Dilation/Manometry, Manometry Interpretation, Colonoscopy
-- Required skills: ERCP + EUS
-- Quick credentialing process; Facility also offers an abbreviated orientation/training to accommodate your schedule
-- Facility details: not a designated trauma center, Cerner EMR, 200+ bed facility
