Gastroenterology Physician Locums Job l July Start l Metro Atlanta, GeorgiaStart date: As soon as credentialed and ongoing
Type of coverage: Starting in July, two weeks blocks Gastroenterology Hospital coverage
Description/Requirements for Assignment #101101:* Active Georgia license and Board Certification required
* Hours 8AM-5PM covering the hospital.
* All general Gastroenterology procedures. ERCP/EUS not required, but could be utilized
* All hospital coverage, no clinic, but could have some scheduled outpatient procedures
* No night/weekend call required
* Average number of cases per day: 3-6
* Average number of consults per day: 1-4
* No support staff, but there are 4 other Gastroenterologists who work in the outpatient setting
* Hospital is willing to credential multiple candidates
* Anesthesia available 24/7
* Local candidates within driving distance preferred
* Privileging process is typically 90 days
