Jackson + Coker's partner in northern Mississippi needs 3-5 GIs to fill a full-time call coverage schedule starting January 2024 and ongoing. The facility is open to considering the availability of both, Advanced GIs (ERCP/EUS capable) and General GIs.
Coverage needed:
* Seeking to fill a full-time call coverage schedule; coverage ASAP
* Will need weekday + weekend coverage
* Hoping to privilege physicians with a minimum of 5-7 days/month of availability starting in 2024
Coverage Details for Assignment #99124:
-- Current Board Certification and/or true Eligibility required
-- Active Mississippi medical license required (open to considering candidates who can obtain quick licensure via the IMLC)
-- 24-hour call coverage opportunity (no mention of clinic needs at this point)
-- Will be covering the ED, see new consults, do emergent procedures & daily patient rounding while on assignment
-- Average # consults are between 3-5 per day & will see 3-5 emergent cases per week
-- Seeking to onboard a variation of advanced & general Gastroenterologists; ERCP is beneficial to the facility
-- Additional information about mid-level support is pending
-- Hospital details: 200+ bed facility, Level III Trauma designation, Epic EMR
