Gastroenterologist Locums Job in Virginia | Seeking 1-3 Weeks per Month | Inpatient Endo-Suite Coverage + Call CoverageJackson + Coker is partnered with a northern Virginia facility that needs GI locum tenens coverage starting in April + ongoing through December. The facility has two layers of coverage needed with specific dates for each detailed below.
Facility Details + Requirements Assignment #100234:* Active & unrestricted Virginia license + DEA is required
* Bread & butter GI - no ERCP/EUS required
* MediTech EMR, 200+ bed facility, not a designated trauma center
* Additional 2024 + 2025 dates; There is also opportunity for locums to perm.
Inpatient Call Coverage: - Monday - Monday inpatient call coverage from 7AM - 7AM (must include 6-8 hours of work in daily rate)
- Typical weekday will start with 4 scheduled elective procedures while the floor APP support makes rounds
- All bread & butter cases, no ERCP/EUS required
- Will being covering ED & complete daily patient rounding, see new consults + do emergent procedures
- Average of 8-12 PPD total
- 6-8 hours of work must be included in daily rate
Open Shifts:* 4/1 – 4/8
* 6/24 – 7/1
* 8/5 – 8/12
'Hybrid,' Endo-Suite Coverage + T,W,TH Night Call: - Needing Monday - Friday coverage working in the endoscopy center from 7:30A-4PM
- Will take night call after endo days on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday from 5P - 7A (no night call Monday/Friday)
- Can anticipate 12-14 scheduled procedures each day (this will be a mix of screening & diagnostic procedures)
- Will have an average of 45 mins - 1 hour to complete each case
- 8 hours of work must be included in daily rate
