General Surgery Weekend and Weeknight Call Coverage Locums Job in Alabama | Late March Start + Ongoing
Jackson & Coker's valued client in Alabama needs General Surgery weekend 24-hour call coverage twice per month and weeknight call coverage starting in late March/early April & ongoing. Look forward to working with a strong, busy team of general surgeons that are navigating a lighter physician schedule due to a few recent/anticipated retirements. Are you available?
Dates of coverage needed:
* Orientation to be scheduled the morning of your first shift
* Seeking 2 weekends of 24-hour weekend call coverage each month (every other weekend)
* Seeking weeknight beeper call (not in house) from 5PM - 7AM
Details/Requirements for Assignment #113847:
-- Location: One hour from Montgomery, Alabama
-- Active Alabama license required - WE CAN LICENSE IN 2 HOURS IF YOU HAVE IMLC
-- Board Certification or true Board Eligibility required
-- Group is currently navigating call coverage with a lesser number of surgeons due to retirements
-- Bread & butter general surgery, light trauma
-- Fairly busy service line, surgeons operate at high volumes
-- Prefer candidates that are comfortable with robotic and laparoscopic minimally invasive procedures
-- 24-hour inpatient call coverage - will see unattached and potentially attached (still being discussed)
-- Level 3 Trauma Center, Cerner EMR
-- Quick & easy privileging at this facility
