Psychiatrist Medical Director Locum Tenens Job in the Bay Area | CaliforniaDetails/Requirements:*Client needs a Medical Director for 20 hours a week to provide 100% administrative/non-clinical services who is local to the Bay Area to support multiple outpatient programs and sites in the South Bay Peninsula, Bay Area.
*Outpatients are mostly adults plus some transitional age youth.
*Hours 8A-5P, M-F. Client will consider either 5 hours a day, 4 days a week, or 4 hours a day, 5 days a week.
*No call after scheduled hours on weekdays or on weekends.
*Client needs a medical director who can oversee their outpatient case management programs with patients who experience moderate to severe mental illness South Bay area.
*Client prefers a board certified local doctor who has medical director experience who can commute and be regularly onsite in one of the South Bay locations at least two days a week and at least a couple of days a week in other parts of the South Bay.
*Expectation is to be onsite for all hours worked, no tele health.
*Client wants a medical director with strong leadership skills, good with processes, being a mentor and coach, and providing workflows, project management, and keeping people well versed on their responsibilities.
*They also want the medical director to monitor clinicians’ performance, including KPIs like monitoring productivity, billable hours, no shows rate, etc. Will conduct quality and peer reviews.
*E.H.R. is called Credible.
*Takes about a month or so for credentialing.
*Client prefers 3-month minimum assignments but the longer the better.
