Neonatal APP (NNP/PA) | Level III NICU | Locums Job in Connecticut
We are seeking a qualified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP), Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Physician Assistant (PA) for locum tenens coverage in Connecticut. This opportunity offers 24-hour shifts in a Level III NICU with a low daily patient census and a focus on neonatal and newborn care.
Details/Requirements:
--Specialty: Neonatal / NICU
--Provider Type: NNP, NP, or PA
--Unit: Level III NICU
--NICU Census: Approximately 1–2 babies per day
--Annual Delivery Volume: Approximately 900–1,000 deliveries
--Schedule: 24-hour shifts
--EMR: Epic
--Coverage: Locum tenens
Responsibilities:
--Provide neonatal care in the Level III NICU and newborn nursery.
--Perform newborn assessments and daily rounds.
--Provide newborn resuscitation and stabilization as needed.
--Monitor and manage neonatal patients in collaboration with the neonatology team.
--Support newborn admissions, ongoing care, and clinical documentation.
Qualifications:
--Current Connecticut license and applicable APP credentials.
--Neonatal experience appropriate for a Level III NICU setting.
--Ability to provide coverage in 24-hour shifts.
