Orthopedic Surgeon Locums Job in Michigan | December 2026-Ongoing
Coverage Details
-- Coverage dates: December 1, 2026 - ongoing, orientation one day prior to starting coverage
-- Full-time inclusive of inpatient and outpatient services
Shift Details:
--Call: 10-11 days per month
--Call Shifts: 7am - 7am
--Working days outside of call will be in outpatient clinic/in the OR
--Clinic Hours: 8am - 4:30pm
--Office Days: Mon/Wed (open for discussion)
--OR Days: Tues/Thurs (open for discussion)
--Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm
-- Office – new and established patients, injections, procedures, elective surgery, ED/ER , follow ups from call, & full scope outpatient orthpedics
-- Call - consults/rounding/emergent surgeries, general Orthopedics, & level 2 trauma center
-- No clinic/OR
Requirements:
-- 50 Orthopedic Surgery cases within the past 12 months
-- Board Certified or Board Eligible
-- Active Michigan license or IMLC
Assignment Details:
-- Full scope Orthopedic Surgery
-- Support staff: APPs depending on volume (no supervision required)
-- EMR: Epic/Dragon
