Neonatology NP Locums Job in Utah | 12-Hour Shifts | Beginning June 7 – January 2 | Assignment #114458Coverage Details-- 12-hour shifts
-- Day, night, and occasional 24-hour shifts
-- 7a–7p and 7p–7a
-- Weekdays, weekends, and holidays
-- Ideal coverage is full-time: approximately 24 shifts per month (3 shifts per week)
Requirements-- Board Certified NNP (NCC)
-- Level 4 NICU surgical experience
-- Minimum 1–3 years of experience
-- Utah license required
-- BLS, PALS, NRP
Required Procedures / Skills-- Sedation for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
-- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
-- Conventional / Mechanical Ventilator Therapy
-- Abdominal Paracentesis
-- Pericardiocentesis
-- Endotracheal Intubation
-- Exchange Transfusion
-- High Frequency Ventilator Therapy
-- Intraosseous Needle Placement
-- Lumbar Puncture
-- Needle Thoracentesis
-- Percutaneous Peripheral Artery Catheter Placement
-- Peripheral Artery Puncture
-- Reduction Transfusion
-- Aspiration / I & D of simple abscess
-- Transfusion Therapy
-- Tube Thoracostomy
-- Umbilical Vessel Catheterization
-- Ventricular Reservoir Tap
-- ECMO Therapy - Preferred
Assignment Details-- 1–3 providers in a level 4 ECMO surgical unit
-- Average patient volume: 5–7 patients during the day, 18–20 patients at night
-- Patient demographics: pediatrics
-- Support staff includes MA, LPN, RN, NP/PA
-- EMR: Epic
