OB Hospitalist & Laborist Locums Job in California | 12 Hour Shifts | Ongoing Coverage | Level III Hospital

A large tertiary hospital in Sacramento is seeking experienced OB Hospitalists and OB Laborists for ongoing coverage. This is a well established hospitalist model with strong leadership support and a collaborative care team. Locum providers are fully integrated and many return long term.

Available Shifts:
--OB ED Hospitalist (AM / PM) and OB Laborist (AM / PM) and Flex Coverage (Backup AM / PM)
--12 hour shifts (occasional 24s with required rest)
--Schedules built months in advance (currently July–October)
--Six provider positions staffed daily

Clinical Highlights:
--OB ED: 10–25 patients per shift, OB & GYN ED coverage, 0–2 basic GYN cases
--Laborist: 4–10 deliveries per shift, high risk OB population, 1–2 scheduled C sections per day
--CNMs on every shift with strong OB nursing support
--Anesthesia in house 24/7
--Level III nursery

Requirements:
--Active CA license & DEA
--Board Certified 
--2 years of case logs
--Temporary privileges available (90 days)
