Ongoing OB/GYN Physician Locums Job in Ohio
Assignment Highlights:-Credentialing: 30-60 days-Emergency privileges may be available for qualified providers-Ongoing opportunity with an initial 6-month commitment and option to extend-24-hour beeper call only (7:00 AM - 7:00 AM)-Inpatient coverage only – no clinic responsibilities-20-minute response time-Solo physician on call with experienced nursing and surgical support-Ability to call in an additional physician for surgical assistance when needed-Covering Labor & Delivery, scheduled C-sections, and ER OB/GYN cases-Responsible for both assigned and unassigned patients-Approximately 3-5 patients per day-Annual delivery volume: 500 births-OB/GYN mix: 80% OB / 20% GYN-Strong, fully staffed Labor & Delivery unit-Level I Nursery (no NICU)-High-risk patients are transferred -No midwives-No APP supervision required-Epic EMR-Comfortable performing the full scope of OB/GYN procedures-Circumcisions are a plus but not required-Board Certified (required if more than 5 years out of training)-Board Eligible accepted if within 5 years of residency completion-Active Ohio license preferred-IMLC candidates considered
