New Pathology Locums Job in Ohio l July Start

Job Requirements for Assignment #115009:--Ohio medical license or active IMLC required
--AP/CP boards highly preferred
--Surgical Pathology
--Covering one week per month July, August and September. Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM no call
--Frozen sections required
--245 bed hospital
Additional Details:--Case load is 25-30 per day
*most biopsies can have 2-4 resections of varying difficulty
*resections may be lung, breast, GI, GU, simple GYN (no GYN Onc)
*biopsies include GI, lung, breast, GU (prostate, bladder, kidney), GYN (cervix, endometrium) occasional soft tissue, occasional liver (neo and non-neo), some Orthopedic cases
--No autopsies
--Residents and pathology assistants do the grossing
--There are frozen sections, but it’s not a heavy load
--No blood banking. No bone marrows
--There are 7 Pathologists (5 surgical) one derma pathologists and one renal. Neuropath is sent out unless metastatic
