A facility in the Charlotte area is seeking a pediatric hospitalist for locums coverage beginning in July 2024.
Details/Specifics for Job ID #101682:
--Coverage: July 1-December 31 with potential to extend
--Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm clinic coverage with at least one week of call per month
--Call schedule: 5pm-8am week night coverage and 24/7 coverage on weekends/holidays
--Average monthly inpatient census is 15/month as most volume is outpatient.
--Average # of patients/day: 11-13
--Other providers: 1 MD, 1 APP
--Clinical Support: 2 RNs, 1 CMA, 1 RD, 1 LCSW
--No PICU, step-down ICU, patients will be transferred as needed
--Peds Endo serves as consulting MD for inpatient visits and will not be handling admissions
--EMR: EPIC
