We are seeking a full time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our inpatient behavioral health team in the Atlanta area. This is a strong opportunity for a provider who enjoys acute psychiatry and values a structured, team oriented environment.
Position Highlights
--Provide care in a fast paced inpatient setting supporting patients with acute psychiatric needs
--Work alongside experienced psychiatric leadership in a collaborative, physician led model
--Join a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, nurses, therapists, and support staff
--Established clinical infrastructure allows you to focus on patient care
Facility Overview
--32 inpatient beds and 96 residential beds across 6 units
--4 PMHNPs currently rounding daily
--Coverage needs and schedules may evolve as permanent hiring continues
--Target start date of June 29
Responsibilities
--Conduct psychiatric evaluations and manage medications for inpatient populations
--Participate in daily rounds, treatment planning, and interdisciplinary meetings
--Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and care teams to deliver high quality care
--Assist with discharge planning and continuity of care
--Maintain timely and accurate documentation
