Adult Outpatient Psychiatrist Locum Tenens Job in Southern CaliforniaDetails/Requirements:*Adult outpatient coverage for one day/8 hours a week starting 12/15/25 and ongoing. Starting with one day a week but could increase.
*All onsite.
*Must be willing to see a patient in the field in an emergency, if needed.
*The psychiatrist has the option to work on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays 8am to 5pm.
*No on call, but would like you to be open to receiving text messages after hours for urgent issues like in the rare event a patient has a reaction to a medication or something like that.
*One hour for initial evaluations and thirty minutes for follow-up appointments.
*Client has an electronic health record, so you must be computer savvy.
*Credentialing takes approximately three weeks.
*Can start with a 3-month assignment and extend it longer if a good fit for the programs.
