Adult Forensic Outpatient Psychiatrist Locums Job in the California Bay Area
Details/Requirement:*Forty hours a week starting ASAP and ongoing. Ten hour days is an option with a Tuesday-Friday schedule. Also open to part-time work, but must be at least two days, and the days preferred would be Thursday and Friday.*100% adult patients seen in a county jail setting.*All work takes place within the jail inmate housing units and clinic (outpatient). No tele psychiatry.*Average 12-15 patients per day in an 8-hour day.*Combination of initial visits for assessment and ongoing renewals.*Hours are 7:00am to 6pm Monday through Friday, either 8 or 10 hour shifts.*No call.*Electronic medical record system, so you must be computer literate.*Takes approximately 2-4 weeks for credentialing.*Prefer Doctors who have correctional or county jail work experience; however, this is not a requirement.*Prefer 6-month minimum assignments, but the longer the better.*Prefers doctors who have correctional or county jail work experience.
