Procedural/Breast Radiologist Locums Job in California Dates of Coverage: Starting as soon as November 2, for long-term coverage support. Candidates do not necessarily need to perform every procedure listed, so we encourage radiologists with strong procedural experience to inquire.Details of Assignment:- Provide onsite procedural Radiology and Breast Imaging coverage- Diagnostic mammography and breast ultrasound- Breast interventions, including ultrasound- and MRI-guided biopsies- CT-guided biopsies and drainage procedures- Thoracentesis and paracentesis- Fluoroscopic examinations and procedures- Additional image-guided procedures may include: - Thyroid biopsies - Sentinel lymph node localization - Lumbar punctures - Abscess drainage - Nephrostomy tube placement - CT-guided chest tube placement- Manage a combination of scheduled outpatient procedures and inpatient procedural needs
Requirements:- Active California medical license- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology- California Radiology Supervisor and Operator Certificate- Recent case logs supporting requested procedural privileges- Breast Imaging experience; MQSA requirements to be confirmed
