New Trauma Surgery Locums Job l Metro Atlanta, Georgia
Seeking Coverage: End of January and ongoing
Shifts: 2-5 shifts per month, 24-hour in-house call coverage. Will technically work 25 hours to pass off patients and help round with trauma team, but you will be compensated for the overtime.
Details/Requirements for Assignment #106441:- Must have active Georgia license and Board Certification in General Surgery and Critical Care
- Hospital is level II trauma
- Physician will respond to all Trauma calls through the ED (doesn't respond to emergency General Surgery calls-trauma only) and will perform emergency Trauma related surgery and rounding
- There are 2-3 advanced practitioners on to assist during the day and 1 at night. Advanced Practitioners respond to all partial activations and the attending has to respond within 15-20 minutes
- 388 bed hospital
